Racheal Lampa

Rachael Lampa was born in Ann-Arbour Michigan in 1985 and started singing right away. By the age of 4 she was already perfecting harmonies. Her talent was first showcased, on The Jenny Jones Show at the age of 12. It was part of the Young Talent Search. Around the same time she also competed in the World Championship of Entertainment and placed 2nd. Her big break came when she was only 14. She was attending a music conference in Colorado when the singer at a cafe didn’t show up. Rachael Lampa filled in. In the audience was a producer from Word Records, and she was soon signed by the label. In the year 2000 at the age of just 15, Rachael Lampa’s debut album Live For You was released. It was a smash hit. She won a Dove award for the song Blessed, she appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and began touring with Stacy Oricco who was also a teen when she debuted that year.
